Meet Mike...
There's nothing I enjoy more than being behind the camera, working under pressure, and organising.
Believe it or not, I hate being in front of the camera myself (LOL).
But, by using the way I feel, I can adopt this into the way I work with my clients. I feel like I can relate to my own fears.
I'm able to photograph you in a way that makes you feel comfortable with fantastic results and plenty of fun,
without making you feel as if you're looking down a barrel of a gun.
I'm very much a people person with a fun sense of humour! Just ask anyone!
I enjoy having a good old laugh with the elderly and listening to their life experiences.
Then there's the little ones, they never fail to make me smile on a wedding shoot and I never know what are they going to say or do next!
It's a must to be alert and catch this innocence on the day.
Personally, I feel family time is a must! My wife Kelly has her own children's entertainment business known as Kelly's Mascots.
Then there's my two daughters with a large age difference, Summer is 9 and was born to dance and perform!
Zoe is 24 and has the total opposite personality and loves to cook!
If I'm able to find a little "me-time" I love to chill with a beer and enjoy watching my favourite team!
Let's say I think it might be best to keep their identity to myself. It will save all the leg pulling I've endured over the last few seasons!
Meet Julian...
2001 beacame for me an important year for me, and a life changer. My third child Courtney was born, and a friend called Mike Yarnold, who at the
time had opened a small studio in Blackwood, offered me, what I concider now my Golden Ticket, altough at the time, I like most people was just a
happy snapper of my family. He saw a spark of potential in me and offered me the chance to expand my knowledgeof photography, Since then I have never
looked back.
My love and understanding of photography has grown and expanded, and has never gone away, My family has grown, my buisness has grown, and my respect for
mike has grown and shown me that the actions of one person can change your life, and this I use in my photography. My passion and love passed onto every wedding I do.
This is Calon Wedding Photography, This is my family.
Meet the Film Crew: Marc & Liam...
Marc and Liam met about 8 years ago whilst working for the same company. It was then they realised how much they had in common.
With a passion for music and film, they mixed the 2 together when they landed they’re own show on Newport City Radio.
Making good contacts there led them on to filming music videos and small trailers for local artists and bands.
From there they filmed and documented backstage at various gigs and festivals before taking
the plunge into cinematic wedding videography.
With vast experience and a huge passion for film, they’re ready for the next challenge!
